Patrick has this pie that he really likes and he wants me to dissect it and make it for him. So look for my attempts at this pie in the future and if any one has a recipe for Georgie Porgie Pie please send it to me.
I can't get the chocolate layer quite right. It either turns out like french silk or fudge. Im going to be trying to make it over the holidays and ill let you know if I get it. Thanks for checking out my blog.
I was just talking about trying to recreate this recipe. Where did you find the Georgy Porgy pie. I use to get them in Illinois at Mrs. Seibolds bakery. They are now closed. So Im suffering and want to try. I remember what it taste like and now its just getting each part right. Have you had anymore luck since 2007? I couldnt find where you posted at recipe. Im DaisyMae on Tasty Kitchen that is from the Pioneer woman cooks site. If you are a member Id love to be on your friends list.
I just bought a Georgy Porgy Pie at Duke Bakery in Granite City IL. First time I had every had one - so good!! I remember Mrs. Siebolds Bakery - Duke Bakery is as good or better!
